People are fascinating, varied, colorful and always doing unexpected things.

In my travels in India, I meet a whole lot of people. (Especially a whole lot of people doing unexpected things.)

After noticing how beautiful they all were, how strangely or elegantly they were dressed, how their teeth were missing or yellow or brilliantly white, I decided to take simple photos of the people I see and post them here.

Occasionally I am too shy to ask someone if I can take their photo (especially if I really, really want it!) and occasionally I work up the nerve and the person says ‘no’.  So for every photo you see here, imagine me looking dejectedly after another fascinating creature walking away.  And then times that by a hundred million or something, and that is where I live.

I hope you enjoy meeting some of the people I meet.
